South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), accreditation means that a person, a body or an institution has been certified as “having the capacity to fulfil a particular function in the quality assurance system set up by the South African Qualifications Authority.”
SETA accreditation can only be attained by a training provider if it successfully completes the stringent application process prescribed by a relevant SETA/QCTO. QCTO/SETA accreditation is therefore the result of a process whereby a QCTO/SETA determines whether a training provider has the necessary capacity and ability to provide quality training in line with National Qualifications Framework (NQF) standards. Our service will ensure that you meet the accreditation requirements with your first application. Our service offering includes:
- Sending letter of intent, to apply for accreditation, to QCTO
- Full evaluation of your current tacit quality management system to determine what policies and procedures are needed to comply with the requirements of your relevant ETQA.
- Design and compile your full QMS, including all necessary policies and procedures required by your relevant ETQA for accreditation.
- Design of review mechanisms to ensure that your QMS is regularly monitored and updated so that quality management is a process of continuous improvement within changing environments and objectives.
