Modern mining operations depend heavily on efficient mining fleet management. Mining is one example of a capital-intensive industry that needs expensive, massive equipment. Considering that mine haulage can account for up to 50% of total mining expenses, it’s critical to manage this fleet as efficiently as possible.
This course provides attendees with an understanding of essential issues necessary for managing a mining fleet, including the need for efficient mining transportation, familiarity with earthmoving machinery, maintenance costs and methods, the buying and replacing of vehicles, and health and safety.
The aim of the course is to provide continuing professional development to all personnel involved in Fleet Management in line in line with the real needs of the main business.
