This skills programme provides the learner with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values to participate in information and knowledge management.

Assessment of Learners
Learners who attend this training will receive a “Certificate of Attendance” directly after the training. Additionally, to

attending this course, learners can apply to be assessed at an additional cost. Assessment entails the completion of a Portfolio of Evidence and if being assessed as competent. In this case, a “Certificate of Competence” will be issued representing the credit values and NQF Level.

Accreditation

This course is accredited. Apply principles of knowledge management to organisational transformation (US: 115405) NQF Level 5, 10 Credits

On completion of this skills programme, learners will be able to:

• Select the collation method based on required analysis;
• Capture and analyse data using analysis techniques based on information required;
• Record variations and anomalies in accordance the prescripts of the methodology;
• Act upon anomalies without compromising the validity of the analysis;

• Derive conclusions from a logical interpretation of the information;
• Provide a valid analysis as an addendum to the report to support assumptions made;
• Analyse the essential elements of knowledge economy;
• Identify the essential features of the human capital in an organisation;
• Provide an analysis of the structural capital in an organisation;
• Indicate how an organisation uses its customer capital;
• Establish the relationship between intellectual capital and knowledge management; and
• Demonstrate the potential relationship between knowledge management and organisational transformation.
