This training programme enables the learner to achieve the ideals of good governance and address deficiencies in supply chain management in the public sector by applying the principles of fairness, equitability, transparency, competitiveness, and cost-effectiveness. By attending this training learners are guaranteed to be equipped with the knowledge to do cost reductions; improve communication with Cost Centers and service providers; improve the use and rotation of the database of potential suppliers; have the ability to reach organisational objectives and comply with legislation and policies in SCM.

  • Apply supply chain management policies and procedures within the public sector
  • Utilise supply chain management systems and resources to fulfil the function effectively; and Secure and manage supplier contracts.
