This skills programme is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to function effectively as an Emergency Response and Evacuation Co-ordinator. The programme focuses on emergency preparedness, evacuation planning, emergency response coordination, stakeholder collaboration, emergency communication, and continuous improvement of emergency response systems to ensure organisational readiness and safety during emergencies. Upon successful completion of the Emergency Response and Evacuation Co-ordinator programme, learners will be able to lead and support emergency response activities, make informed decisions under pressure, coordinate resources and personnel during emergencies, and contribute to the development of a safe, prepared, and resilient workplace.

Minimum six months operational experience within an organisational environment
Upon successful completion of this Emergency Response and Evacuation Co-ordinator programme, learners will be able to:
Participate in the development of emergency response and evacuation plans.
Coordinate the implementation of emergency response procedures during emergencies.
Conduct emergency drills and evaluate emergency preparedness.
Review and update emergency response and evacuation plans.

Learners who successfully complete the programme will be eligible to write the FISA examination. Upon passing the exam, they will be awarded a Certificate of Competence along with a Statement of Results, both of which are aligned with the QCTO standards
