Course Introduction

This practical skills programme equips cleaning personnel with the knowledge and skills required to deliver professional, safe, and effective cleaning services. Participants will learn correct cleaning techniques for various workplace areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces, while using appropriate chemicals, equipment, and hygiene practices — including current sustainable and eco-friendly cleaning approaches.

 

The Cleaning Services and Interpersonal Skills programme also develops essential interpersonal skills such as communication, customer service, teamwork, conflict management, stress management, and time management. In addition, learners will gain an understanding of occupational health and safety, waste management, and infection prevention, including the hygiene standards that have become permanent features of workplace cleaning since the COVID-19 pandemic.
