Course Introduction

Buying or building an AI tool is the easy part. Getting people to use it well, trust it appropriately, and change how they work is where most AI initiatives succeed or stall. People’s concerns are often reasonable: worry about their jobs, doubts about accuracy and fairness, and extra work during the transition. Leaders who treat these concerns as obstacles to be overcome usually make them worse. Leaders who understand them can address them.

This practical, interactive one-day course equips leaders, managers, and professionals to lead AI adoption. It examines the psychology behind resistance to technological change, introduces established change management approaches applied to AI, and builds practical skills in communicating the value of AI, engaging employees, and building a culture of learning. The course also covers the legal and ethical side of AI-related change in South Africa, including consultation when AI affects jobs.

Participants leave with a draft AI change management plan for their own organisation, and checklists they can use straight away. Whether you oversee a small team or a large-scale AI deployment, the course builds the knowledge and confidence to lead change.
