Practical Exercise: Draft a session-by-session outline for a short training programme.

Module 5: Handling Difficult Participants and Group Challenges 

  • Identifying common difficult participant behaviours and their causes 

  • De-escalation and redirection techniques for live sessions 

  • Managing dominant voices and disengaged participants 

  • Staying composed and in control under pressure 

Practical Exercise: Work through a difficult-participant scenario and agree a response strategy. 

Module 6: Practical Facilitation Practice 

  • Preparing and delivering a short facilitated session

Practical Exercise: Deliver a short facilitated session to the group and receive structured peer feedback.
