Course Introduction

Every organisation depends on risk champions who can move an ISO 31000-based risk management process from paper to practice — and do it well enough that risk owners in the business units and supportive assurance functions (internal control, compliance, risk, and internal audit) all understand exactly where their responsibilities begin and end. This five-day masterclass builds that capability from the ground up: the full risk management process, from establishing context and identifying risk through to ranking, treatment, control, and implementation.

You’ll work through comprehensive lectures on each stage of the ISO 31000 process, paired with practical workshops that put the theory to work — building risk registers, designing risk ranking matrices, drafting a Risk Appetite Statement, and stress-testing your organisation’s risk readiness. By the end, you’ll have both the technical grounding and the practical tools to drive Enterprise Risk Management forward across your organisation, whatever seat you sit in.
